Week 2: Whatever happens happens, but imma deliver that mensaje first

Whats up guys? It's day 14 now. It seems crazy because the days take so long but It´s already been a week. Thats what all the older guys say tho. The days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days. Except the days feel like years. I´m still doing good tho. We always joke that the ccm is a prison, but at least its a super nice prison that treats us well. I think this place is like the third most protected place in guatemala after the capitol building and the temple, which is on the same grounds as us lol. It´s crazy tho driving through the city because literally every place has armed guards. Even little ceasars and like wendys. I still dont know a lot about the culture here, but that tells you a lot. Dont take things for granted of in los estados unidos. It really is a land blessed by God. This mtc sends missionarys to the most dangerous missions in the world. At least thats what everyone says. I think it goes El Salvador, Honduras and then Guatemala but yo no sé. Everyones super scared, especially the hermanas, but its literally a thought that never crossed my mind until people talk about it and then I forget about it. I can´t help but think of the story of Ammon. He straight balls out and destroys like 20 guys because he has so much faith that he´ll be preserved by the lord. And so many people in the scriptures will have dangerous situations that they get through because they know that through the lord they can´t be touched until they at least give the message they´re supposed to. So yeah, honestly Im not scared. It sounds cheesy but I have a message that people need to here and whatever happens happens, but imma deliver that mensaje first. 

I can´t really remember what I said last week but I´m pretty sure I forgot to tell you that I GOT MY HEAD SHAVED! I was livid. My hair wasn´t even that long but everyone had to get it shaved. Some peoples hair was already shaved and they still needed to get theirs cut. My companion is the only one who got away and I dont know how. It honestly doesnt look that bad tho. I love the ccm but it has a lot of whack rules. I think it has to be the most strict mtc in the world. We can´t send pics until we get in the field, which sucks. We cant wear striped socks! everyone gets away with it but my pants are so short that the teachers can always see them and I get called out. We cant wear backpacks. Which I think is a new rule with my group but they only enforce it with me. I think the just have it out for me. Theres many more but im almost out of time and i cant write all of them.

yesterday we had one of our hermanas go home. It was super sad cuz she was pretty chill. Everyone was depressed for a bit. The mission life is hard. We literally are working non stop but I can handle it. My spirits are high right now and I´m just hoping I can maintain them for a while. 

Id like to hear from some of my homies, i miss u guys. I miss memes, we´re all stuck on memes that are long expired. We´re still on johnny johnny here. except we say josé josé so i guess it makes it different haha.

love you guys and hopefully ill be faster at writing next week so i can say some more stuff.
