Week 12: Well my comps dead. Well almost

Well my comps dead. Well almost.
Today he went off with all the other guys that are leaving and they’re having a party rn. I writing rn with a temporary comp until cambios tomorrow. A few days ago he asked if I was still homesick and I said yeah a little and he said that how he felt that whole last change was way worse than how he felt in the first. I couldn´t tell tho. He wasn´t really baggy or anything, just kept on working hard.

This week was pretty crazy tho. Every night we were eating dinner with someone. One night we had three. Wednesday was pretty cool. Usually the missionaries leaving go through the temple the day of changes but the temple is closed for cleaning that day so they went on Wednesday instead, and we got to go too! I lucked out on that one.

Thursday we were walking to an appt and we were right in front of mcdonalds about to cross the street and this car ran a red light and wrecked this guy on a motorcycle. The guy went flying and the car went to the right, hit the curb, went staight up the mcdonalds fence, all 4 wheels off the ground, and then tipped over. We were like 20 feet away from it. We ran over to help the guy and somehow he was okay. I don't think he broke any bones except maybe for his ribs cuz he said he couldn´t breath. He wasn´t even wearing a helmet. It was super crazy, life can end so quick.

Friday we had dinner with a super cool family in the ward. They made us steaks and potatoes and they have three kids that are super chill. Saturday we had a huge lunch cuz they were celebrating the bday of my comp and the husband and after, they brought out a HUGE cake. I´ve never been so full in my life. Then we had a lesson with a girl thats super close to bautismo but we couldn´t put a fecha. After we had a another appt with members and they also had a huge cake. An hour later we went to dinner with the Obispo. I´m getting fat and I’m scared.

Sunday was awesome cuz it was my comps bday so we had another feast, with cake. This one was actually super good cuz the guys pretty rich and has the most american house I´ve seen here. We had more steak and potatoes but like real steak. It was buenisimo. It was also his last day so everyone wanted to say bye to him, including the missionary couple. We went over to their house and had dinner and made cinnamon rolls. They were sooo good. I’ve been spoiled in this place and I’m gonna be here at least 6 more weeks.

Anyway now we’re here. Elder Nicholes if you’re reading this, I love you <3. You were a super good papi and a super good influence. If you aren´t married (with the chick that sings come thou fount) and have three kids by the time I’m done I will be very disappointed.
