Week 20: So moral of the story, don't sleep on kids
I'm not dead. I promise I'm fine.
I'm sorry I forgot to say last week but our P-Day got changed to Wednesday instead of Thursday because today WE GOT TO GO TO THE TEMPLE! So that was a bit of an experience.
Yesterday we braved a long long bus ride like mas o menos 5 or 6 hours listening to pure banda. They play the banda so loud so me and elder h. were shouting the whole time. I also have this thing where I can type out my emails before pday, so I had a super nice email written out but.. I forgot my cable so this one probs wont be the best.
We got to Xela at like 8:30 so I decided to visit my fav fam. Fam Valasquez. They were pretty hyped to see me. Then we stayed in Los Arcos and the new missionaries totally let it go. Sucio. So today was pday. I had to go to the Doctor tho to see if I had a parasite. I don't. However, I do have a bacterial infection. Nothin to crazy tho. Just gonna take some pills. It is really weird to be walking around here though. The people don't just stare at you as you walk, the girls don't take pictures and whistle at you, and there aren't random guys that yell english at you. Kinda nice, but I don't miss Xela that much. So we went to the temple today. Super nice. We get to go every 6 months. It was a nice way to let me know where my Spanish is at cuz I understood probably 98 or 99 percent of it. Or the stuff thats said... Rn we're writing at the marbles house. Idk whats gonna happen for here. Honestly a lot happened this week. But I don't want to type it all out so sorry. I went on divisions We helped a guy haul wood and he showed us a cool cave too Theres a cool fair being set up
idk thats kinda what happened. Also were teaching this kid named Antonio. One of the smartest kids I've ever met. We were walking through the park one day and some kids yelled at us and just said, Hey Antonio lives up there. We were like, We don't know Antonio but va pues. So we went off of sketchy directions and found him. Now he's like our most positive investigator.
Well peace out hasta lunes. This time it will be a lunes. |
