Week 40: August 12, 2019: It was literally Trump vs Hillary
I can't remember what happened this week.
I went on divisions Thursday with a guy named Elder Henry. He's pretty awesome and we had a good time. We got a joven in the ward to go buy us pizza in the night time and it was super chill.
Saturday there was a baptism in a different area so we took our investigator Jose from Chuisuc. We thought just he was gonna go so we went in a small car over a really rough road. He ended up bringing his wife, who's mas o menos positiva and his daughter, who before wouldn't even come out to meet us when we came over. She's super Catholic too, so it was pretty weird.
But we had to squeeze in the car and it was a pretty miserable ride.
The baptism was really good and my boi elder hinckley was there so that was cool. We were able to fijar a fecha for the 24th.
Sunday was pretty crazy because it was elections again. this time just two candidates. It was literally trump and Hillary. They were both bad but everyone here hated Sandra. She also was paying people to vote for her and ballots were coming in already filled in for her before people voted. They were gonna arrest her but she left the country last night.
Today we went to go play soccer like we normally do. But after we went to this place called Tacorazon where they have a challenge to eat a 3.5 pound burrito in thirty minutes. I tried to do it, but i failed. Elder Fisher did it in 12 minutes. It was so hard. I had just a little bit to go but my body wouldnt let me do it. I feel super sick now. But thats about it this week.
