January 1, 2020 "2020 better treat me as good as 2019 did"

This week was awesome. So many things have happened but so many things cant be written. 

Last Wednesday, Christmas, was awesome. Starting it off with presents from a package my amazing mother made for me. We had a little zone activity and then wrote our families at the bishop's house. Ate a ton of tamales and then we played soccer with our zone against another zone.

Friday we had the baptism of our boy Dylan. It was so good. The best baptism I've been to and the best conversion I've experienced. He's changed so much and he was so happy at the baptism. I conferred the holy ghost to him and it was really cool. A lot of people told me after that it felt like a blast of warm air hit them when I said, recibe el espíritu Santo. Afterwards he got up and shared a short testimony but it was so awesome. He's so awkward and shy and so we didn't think he would but I said he took the best decision of his life that day, he knows repentance is real and he kept expressing his gratitude for us, the missionaries, for teaching him. Really special.

Yesterday I spent the last day of 2019 up in quilinco. I did divisions with  Elder Cordova, from lima Peru. (so many peruvians) He's super cool and super funny and was probably the best connection I've had with a latino elder out here. We were just laughing and joking around the whole day. We met many crazy people who didn't understand us, like us or want us to come back. We bible bashed a testigo and we found a little corderito. So what did I do? Toss that boy on my shoulders of course. At midnight we stepped out of the house and saw the fireworks from an amazing view. Way better than last year. You could see all of hue hue and it looked like it was on fire. Super fun day.

Today we hung out with all the guys in the zone and played a lot of different sports. Futbol, basketball, ping pong, volleyball. It was really fun.

2020 better treat me as good as 2019 did.
