January 27, 2019 Until next time testigos

Well, another change come and gone. 11-17. Time keeps volando.

Tuesday Quilinco came down to stay the night in preparation for the multizona on Wednesday. We did a mini division until Edvin took all of us to dinner. It was super fun and we were also to give him like a mini-lesson at dinner. At night we kinda threw a party in our new house. It's awesome. I sleep like a baby now.

Wednesday we had the multizona. It was really good. The HH multizonas a lot smaller than Xela but it was still fun. President talked about a conference talk from years ago about how the spirit can talk to us. Like there was an experience of a lady who had a lot of problems in her life and just asked, how can I be better? A still small voice came instantly and said, "Don't interrupt people when they talk talk". And another girl asked the same thing and her answer was "clean your room". In Moroni 10 5 were promised to know the truth of all things and that doesn't necessarily mean only profound life-changing matters.

On Friday I did divisions with Elder Adames. An Elder from my group from the Dominican Republic. He's a very very interesting and weird guy but we had fun. We ended up going with this girl named Reichel and found out that shes crazy pilas. Usually, we leave people with 3 Nephi 11 to read and they usually don't. She read 3 Nephi 9'11 and also the whole story of Samuel the Lamanite because she saw the pictures in front and was interested. Then she prayed about it. Which no one does either. And she said she felt something indescribable testifying that it's true. Which more people would get if they read and prayed.
So we taught her the restauracion and at the end asked if shed pray to know if it's true and she said she didn't need to because she already knows it is. Our minds almost exploded. She wanted to go to church too but her parents won't let her because shes catholic. Patience...

Saturday was a day.
We got together as a zone to help this guy in Cuchu build a big huge cistern. Well really just move all the rocks he dug out. It was basically a 10 by 10 by 6 ft pit of pure rock. There was no dirt. We worked from 9 to 1230 moving the rocks in beat-up wheel wheelbarrows on wooden boards, upstairs, outside and dumping it on the hill outside. It was rough and I'm pretty sure me and my comp got heatstroke from it.
To make it worse the testigos tried to come by and bible bask while we were working. I was so close to turning my hat backward and whipping my scriptures out to battle like Ash Ketchum, but I also knew it was not the time nor the place. Until next time testigos...
Anyway, I felt kinda sick for the rest of the day but my comp got really sick. I woke up at 1 in the morning to the violent vomiting of my comp. He asked me for a blessing and since then he's been okay. Power of the Sacerdocio right there.

Sunday really the only thing big that happened was we got the changes call and what do you know?? I'm leaving again. I never last longer than 2 changes in an area. It's kinda nice because I don't lose motivation to work as easily but its also kinda the worst because I never get to see the conversion of the people I find. Like basically these last two changes I've been working the ground, planting the seeds and cultivating the plants that will all be ready to harvest in February. Either way though as long as someone gets the harvest done I don't care if I'm the one harvesting.

Today I've basically just spent the whole day trying to fit all my stuff into my suitcases again. It was hard but we got it done.  We went to eat in a place in Chiantla as a zone. A sad little despedida. Almost everyone in the zone has been here for 3 or 4 changes. And every area has changes this time. Were gonna go stay the night in Calvario and then wake up at 4 am to go to changes in Xela. Its gonna be a good time.
